1. Tow ball compatibility

Your vehicle must have a compatible 50 mm ISO tow ball. The manufacturer specifies a minimum clearance of 65 mm between the centre of the tow ball and the rear of the vehicle.

2. Vehicle load limits

The maximum permitted bicycle load is 60 kg, with no individual bicycle exceeding 20 kg. Your vehicle’s tow-bar nose-weight rating may impose a lower limit. The combined weight of the carrier and bicycles must be considered when checking the permitted nose load.

3. Bicycle compatibility

Check each bicycle’s wheelbase, tyre width, frame shape and down-tube diameter against the manufacturer’s specifications. Tandem bicycles are not suitable.

4. Electric bicycles

The Eazzy 4’s individual bicycle weight limit is 20 kg. Many electric bicycles exceed this limit, so the carrier should not be assumed suitable for e-bikes without confirming the weight of each bicycle.

5. Electrical connection

The supplied lighting board uses a 13-pin round connector. A suitable adapter may be required for vehicles with a 7-pin socket; the adapter is not included.

6. Vehicle type

The manufacturer states that the Eazzy 4 is not suitable for use on trailers, caravans, motorhomes or recreational vehicles.

7. Loading and driving
